Last year and this year alike, there was a deficit of 1 million ounces on the platinum market. In a market with approximately 8 million ounces of demand, this is a very significant shortfall.
We wrote about the platinum deficit phenomenon last year as well, and this year we could have repeated almost word for word what we said then. Meanwhile, above-ground stockpiles continue to shrink.

What does the discount include?
- We have reduced the Premium plan monthly fee from 14 euros to 7 euros
- For platinum, we now charge an annual insurance fee of 0.84%, which, applied to a value of HUF 1 million, amounts to just HUF 700 per month
- We have also significantly reduced our platinum trading spread, which currently stands at just 3% above the global market spread in USD and EUR, and 3.1% in HUF
- Platinum can be purchased and sold in Goldtresor by investors VAT-free, in gram units of good delivery platinum bars stored in the Zurich Loomis free trade zone
